    I don’t know what it is, but I REALLY like this style of drawing that you do. You say it is a “quick” sketch. For me, it says so much because there is movement captured in them. I like this. I can hear it.

    I agree with Leslie, the sketch really does imply movement and, with the little caption, evokes what the soldier has left behind. I know I’m going to adore your book when it comes out.
