Sketches

Sketches of "thorny dragons" in preparation for a submission to an anthology coming soon. Plus sketches of soldiers; I'm enjoying working with ballpoint pen and grey brush pen.

Coloring images

We were learning about digital coloring in class and had to choose one of our own images on which to practice, so I chose an old sketch I'd done of Dave Tough the drummer, so here's the color version without a black outline, an the color version with the black outline.

A class assignment

The assignment due this week was to create three autobiographical comic strips in the style of, and with as similar tools as possible, of the artist we were assigned: mine was George Herriman who created/wrote/drew "Krazy Kat," and this is what I came up with for the assignment.
